On the 15th of January 2020, the results of the TRACK-VET project were presented during the national consultative meeting for the Szansa project beneficiaries. More than 100 persons participated in this event.
Szansa project is governed by the Fundacja Rozwoju Systemu Edukacji (FRSE) in cooperation with the Educational Research Institute (IBE). The main goal of the Szansa project is to support adults with low basic skills, by supporting the development of understanding and creating information skills, mathematical reasoning and digital skills as well as social competences. The project aims to achieve its goals by developing and testing innovative models of three-stage (through the diagnosis of skills, educational action, validation) educational support for people with low basic skills from selected target groups. In the next step, based on the testing phase, the project will prepare recommendations for systemic actions to improve the basic skills of adult Poles.
During the event, Horacy Dębowski, TRACK-VET project leader, indicated the role of assessment in the process of development of competences and presented the main findings from the TRACK-VET project relevant for the Szansa project beneficiaries.
Participants of the event were representatives of the following institutions: lifelong learning centres, adult education institutions, libraries and other cultural institutions, institutions operating in the field of educational and vocational counselling, local government units, folk/open /third age universities, social welfare centres, social cooperatives, associations and foundations enterprises promoting learning at work, chambers of crafts, labour market institutions, employers' organizations, trade unions, certifying institutions operating in the Integrated Qualifications System and other entities involved in supporting adults with low basic skills.
